Field-Ready Smartphone Eyepiece Mount

Dimensions: 177.8 mm × 101.6 mm × 38.1 mm (7 × 4 × 1.5 inches). Weight: 170.1 g (6 oz). Engineered from rugged metal to maintain dimensional stability and clamping integrity across UK climate extremes — from damp Scottish highlands to humid southern greenhouses. Compatible with every smartphone model and any optical instrument featuring an eyepiece with outer diameter between 29 mm and 45 mm — including 1.25-inch telescope accessories, porro-prism binoculars, straight-view spotting scopes and student microscopes. Mounting sequence is tactile and repeatable: insert phone, verify camera-to-eyepiece coaxial alignment by sight, then secure using two ergonomic knobs — one locking phone position, the other gripping eyepiece barrel. All phone features remain operable: screen swipes, microphone input, GPS tagging and mobile data functions work uninterrupted. Important: Phones fitted with rugged, wallet or multi-layer cases may exceed internal cradle clearance and must be un-housed for safe mounting.
