ESP32-Powered DDSM Hub Motor Controller

This Raspberry Pi HAT delivers integrated control for DDSM115 and DDSM210 hub motors in a single, stackable module. Size: ~65 mm × 56 mm × 15 mm; weight: ~42 g. PCB substrate is FR-4 with PC solder mask. Offers four physical interfaces for DDSM115 and four for DDSM210, each with matching pinout and signal conditioning. The onboard ESP32-WROOM-32 handles all real-time motor sequencing and exposes 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for networked operation. A high-efficiency buck converter generates stable 5 V to power the Pi from the same input source (7–28 V DC). Communication paths include USB Type-C (for immediate command-line or GUI control), UART over GPIO (for deterministic low-level integration), and Wi-Fi-based JSON API (for cloud-connected applications). Pre-installed web app enables browser-based configuration and live motor monitoring without installing additional software.
