Electromechanical Hygrostat 65% RH Cut-in

The MFR012 is an electromechanical hygrostat designed specifically to control enclosure heaters by activating them when relative humidity exceeds 65%, thereby raising the dew point and preventing condensation and corrosion. Its compact plastic housing (UL94 V-0 rated, light grey) measures 67 × 50 × 38 mm and mounts securely on standard 35 mm DIN rails (EN 50022). It operates reliably across 0–60°C (32–140°F) and stores safely from −20–80°C (−4–176°F), with IP20 protection. Electrical connections accept rigid wire up to 2.5 mm² or stranded wire (with ferrule) up to 1.5 mm² via a 3-pole terminal (max. clamping torque 0.5 Nm). The device features a change-over contact rated for 100,000 cycles, with minimum switching capacity of 20 V AC/DC at 100 mA and maximum capacity of 250 V AC / 5 A (resistive) or 1 A (inductive), plus 20 W DC. Switching hysteresis is 4% RH (±3% tolerance), and it tolerates air velocities up to 15 m/s. EMC compliance meets EN 55014-1-2, EN 61000-3-2 and EN 61000-3-3.
