DW7231-Compatible Mounting Clips

A two-unit replacement kit for the release levers on DEWALT DW7231 mounting brackets. Built to identical tolerances as original components, enabling full interoperability with DEWALT heavy-duty miter saw stands: DW723, DWX723, DWX724, DW730 and DWX725. Each clip measures 68 mm × 24 mm × 12 mm (L×W×H), weighs 42 g, and is injection-moulded from high-integrity composite plastic. Matte black surface finish reduces glare in workshop lighting. Key functional element is the integrated fixing protrusion — sized and angled to interface cleanly with the DW7231 bracket’s internal spring latch, delivering stable engagement and predictable release action. Installation requires only a Phillips screwdriver and takes less than one minute per clip. These clips address common failure modes observed in field use: brittle fracture of aged plastic levers, loss of spring tension due to wear, and inconsistent re-engagement after adjustment — all contributing to reduced saw stability and compromised cut precision.
