Floating switch for use in sewage and wastewater applications with suspended solids. This heavy-duty dual-purpose suspension switch features an integrated concrete counterweight to maintain proper orientation, even in the presence of floating debris. The SPDT switch is suitable for pump control in both emptying and filling operations. Directly controls pumps up to 1/2 horsepower at 120 V or 220 V. Rated for up to 15 amps. Suitable for septic tanks, sewage tanks, and potable water applications. Built-in Honeywell micro-switch rated for 50,000 operations. PVC/thermoplastic cable jacket. Contains a stainless steel ball. Includes adjustable weights. Buoy dimensions: 6.1 inches long × 3.8 inches diameter (155 mm × 98 mm). Rated for indoor or outdoor use; operating temperature range: 0°C to 80°C; freeze-resistant. Reinforced double O-ring cable entry. Waterproof rating: IP65. Color: blue. Material: metal and plastic. Cable length options: 4 meters or 10 meters. Package contents: 1 × float switch.
