BW16-Kit is a compact development board built around the RTL8720DN-based BW16 module. Dimensions: approx. 54 × 32 mm (PCB only); weight: ~15 g. It features dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) compliant with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n, supporting HT20 and HT40 channel bandwidths. The board integrates both an ARMv8-compatible high-performance Cortex-M4F MCU and a low-power Cortex-M0 MCU, enabling efficient task partitioning. It includes hardware-accelerated cryptographic engines (AES/DES/SHA), TrustZone-M support, secure boot, and SWD debug port protection. Bluetooth 5.0 is fully supported — including high-power mode (7 dBm) using the shared RF front-end and antenna with Wi-Fi. Operating modes include STA, AP, and concurrent STA+AP. Network provisioning is simplified via Android/iOS Simple Config apps and Bluetooth-assisted setup. Firmware updates are supported locally via serial port or remotely over-the-air (FOTA). Development is enabled across Windows and Linux environments, with full Arduino IDE compatibility.
