This dressmaking aid is a 2000 cm continuous roll of black polyester elastic mesh braid, precisely 5 cm wide and 0.1 cm thick. Its mechanical properties stem from a proprietary filament alignment process: parallel core filaments provide longitudinal give, while interlocking weft threads maintain lateral integrity. The result is a trim that behaves predictably under needle, steam, and tension — neither over-stretching nor collapsing. It is compatible with all common dress fabrics including silk dupioni, stretch lace, polyester satin, and double-layered tulle, and maintains performance after dry cleaning (P-code) and gentle hand washing.
