The DM542 is a high-performance digital stepper motor driver compatible with NEMA 17, 23, and 34 motors. It operates from a DC supply of 24–80V (recommended 36V), with minimum power capacity of 200VA. Output current is user-adjustable across eight fixed levels: 2.4A, 2.9A, 3.4A, 3.9A, 4.4A, 4.9A, 5.4A, 6.4A, and 7.2A — offering 0.5A resolution for fine-tuned motor matching. Peak current reaches 4.2A. Drive mode uses dual-channel constant-current PWM for stable, efficient power delivery. Physical dimensions are 12 × 7.8 × 3.5 cm; construction combines PCB and black ABS housing. Insulation resistance >500MΩ and dielectric strength 500V/min confirm safety compliance under standard UK electrical conditions.
