Dementia-Safe Wireless Bed Exit Alarm

This wireless bed exit alarm system supports safer independent living for seniors with dementia or cognitive impairment. Sensor dimensions: ~9.5 x 4.5 x 2 cm (65 g); receiver: ~12 x 7 x 2.5 cm (130 g); both made of white plastic. Includes two motion sensors and one receiver — all pre-synchronised. Sensors activate upon movement under bedding or at entry/exit points, instantly relaying alerts to the receiver. Power flexibility: alkaline batteries or Micro-USB input ensures uninterrupted performance. Signal range exceeds 500 ft in open conditions — ideal for bungalows, terraced houses, or homes with gardens. Customisation includes 17 alert tones, volume control spanning from mute to 110 dB, and dedicated vibration-only mode. Initial setup requires only powering on — the built-in self-test confirms operational status via five rhythmic LED pulses within 20 seconds.
