DC 20KA Household Solar Surge Protector

A purpose-built surge protection device for domestic photovoltaic systems, operating reliably at up to 1200 V DC with a 1000 V rated voltage. It delivers 20 kA surge current handling capacity and clamps overvoltages to 3.0 kV, responding in just 25 ns. As a 2-pole unit, it provides complete polarity coverage for DC strings — essential for modern inverter topologies. Designed for fixed installation in certified enclosures, it complies with functional safety expectations for UK solar deployments and integrates seamlessly with standard DC isolators and combiner setups.
