DB9-RJ9 RS232 Cable for Telescope Mounts

A purpose-built 1.8-meter RS232 interface cable designed exclusively for connecting PCs and computerised equatorial mounts via the hand controller’s serial port. One end terminates in a DB9 male connector for direct attachment to a computer’s COM port (or Serial-to-USB adapter); the other end uses an RJ9 (4P4C) modular plug engineered to snap firmly into the hand control socket. Built with ABS outer casing and metal internal conductors, it ensures long-term reliability under repeated field deployment. This cable is indispensable for executing hand controller firmware upgrades and running advanced telescope control software — functions that require true RS232-level access rather than emulated HID or virtual COM ports.
