CW Key Decoder With LCD Display

Engineered for hands-on Morse code development, this decoder accepts direct input from a mechanical or electronic Morse key via its dedicated CW key socket. It displays decoded characters in real time on a 1602 LCD screen, offering excellent visibility and stability. Power options include DC 5–12V / 500mA input or internal 3.7V lithium battery with USB-C charging — supporting both fixed station and mobile deployment. The unit features two status LEDs showing full charge, and two calibrated potentiometers: one (103) for adjusting CW signal sensitivity and another (102) for LCD contrast. A red button enables or disables space character insertion during decoding, allowing flexible configuration depending on training phase or source material format.
