Small-footprint LM317 linear regulator board housed in blue polycarbonate case. Overall dimensions: 3.5 cm length × 2 cm width × 1.7 cm height. Material: UL-certified PC plastic offering high dielectric strength and dimensional stability. Input voltage compatibility: 4.2 V to 40 V DC. Output voltage range: 1.2 V to 37 V DC, set via external resistive divider. Output current: rated for minimum 1.5 A continuous delivery; peak capability reaches 2.2 A under favourable thermal conditions. Maximum VI–VO differential: 40 V DC. Operating ambient temperature: 0 °C to +125 °C. Extended storage temperature: −55 °C to +150 °C. Output mode: standard single-ended positive output referenced to GND. Small-signal characteristic frequency: 100 MHz — contributes to excellent line and load regulation performance. Typical applications include powering handheld consumer electronics (mobile phones, MP3/MP4 players, PSP), custom battery chargers, embedded control systems, and educational electronics kits where simplicity, low noise and adjustability are prioritised over efficiency.
