Brown Polyimide Tape 10mm 280C 33m

Two rolls of brown polyimide tape, each 10 mm wide and 33 m long (66 m total). Base material is biaxially oriented polyimide film with a high-temp silicone adhesive. Rated for continuous use at 280°C. Offers high electrical resistivity, broad chemical resistance (acids, alkalis), low ionic contamination, and excellent mechanical characteristics — including flexibility over tight radii, resistance to puncture and tear, and clean, non-residue removal after thermal exposure. Primary application is protective masking of PCB gold fingers, edge connectors, and delicate surface-mount features during wave soldering. Also widely specified for insulating motor windings, transformer layers, coil wraps, and high-voltage capacitor terminations in industrial electronics. Validated in sublimation workflows for temporary graphic registration — maintains sharp edge definition, resists curling at elevated temperatures, and releases cleanly from coated substrates without surface disruption.
