Holofit Boldo de Equisalud is formulated with plant extracts, which helps with gallbladder dysfunctions thanks to its hepatic-vesicular regulatory power. This product also provides tonic, appetizing, choleretic, and stimulating activity of gastric secretions. The angelica root contains essential oil and coumarin derivatives such as angelicin, archangelicin, bergapten, etc. Gentian stands out for its bitter secoiridoid-type principles such as gentiopicrin, amarogentin, or swertiamarin, which give it tonic, appetizing, choleretic, and gastric secretion-stimulating activity. Fumaria is mainly known for its alkaloid content, more than twenty, with the major alkaloid being protopine or fumarine. Boldo exerts a significant hepatoprotective action against hepatotoxicity induced by tert-butyl hydroperoxide in vitro and against hepatotoxicity induced by carbon tetrachloride in vivo. Take 4 to 6 capsules a day, preferably before meals, or as directed by a specialist. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. Do not exceed the expressly recommended dose. Keep out of reach of young children Keep the container tightly closed, in a dry and cool place.
