BNO055 9-Axis AHRS Sensor Module

The BNO055 sensor module is a compact, integrated 9-degree-of-freedom (9-DoF) absolute orientation sensor combining a 3-axis accelerometer (12-bit), 3-axis gyroscope (16-bit), and 3-axis magnetometer (12-bit) on a single chip. It features an embedded 32-bit microcontroller for real-time sensor fusion and automatic calibration, delivering fused orientation data (quaternion, Euler angles, rotation vector) without external processing. Power supply range is 3–5 V DC with an internal low-dropout regulator for stable operation. Communication is via standard I²C or serial UART interface, supporting flexible output modes — raw sensor data per axis or pre-fused orientation streams. Dimensions and weight are optimised for space-constrained applications such as wearables and compact electronics.
