BB8 Mount Disc Brake Device

This mechanical disc brake device is engineered specifically for BB8 standard mounting interfaces, supporting rotor sizes F160R140 or F180R160. Constructed from light alloy, it achieves a high strength-to-weight ratio at just 194 g and compact dimensions of approx. 12 x 12 x 12 cm. The metal housing ensures lasting durability while contributing to effective thermal management. Braking performance is characterised by strong initial bite and smooth, controllable release — enabling confident speed regulation on mixed-surface rides. Heat generated during braking is efficiently dispersed through the alloy body. Users can adjust both the overall clamping force (tightness) and lateral caliper position (left/right width) for accurate alignment. Installation is compatible with standard mechanical brake levers and cables, following widely documented BB8 mounting practices.
