A ready-to-deploy Geiger counter system engineered for gamma radiation (20–120 mR/h) and soft beta particle detection (100–1800 CPM). Delivers real-time audible and visual alerts upon detection. Offers interrupt-driven output for microcontroller synchronization (e.g., Arduino, ESP32) and direct PC connection for data capture and MATLAB analysis. Compatible with widely available Geiger-Müller tubes — M4011, SBM-20, J305, STS-5 — supporting input voltages from 330 V to 600 V. Requires no assembly: power on and measure nuclear radiation immediately. Dimensions: 118 × 63 mm (4.6 × 2.5 in); PCB substrate only. Operates from −40 °C to +55 °C. GM tube details: 10.5 mm diameter, 902 mm length; starts under 350 V; recommended 380 V; plateau ≥80 V; slope ≤10%/80 V; max voltage 550 V; max count rate 25 CPM; rated for 1 × 10⁹ pulses.
