Fucus (Fucus vesiculosus L.) is a seaweed that accumulates iodine, which gives it a thyroid-stimulating effect and increases cellular metabolism. It is also rich in potassium, bromine, chlorine, magnesium, calcium, iron, silica, and other nutrients, making it a plant with a remineralizing effect. Potassium salts also have a diuretic effect. Other components of Fucus are mucilaginous substances (algin and laminarin), which swell in the stomach without being assimilated when exposed to water. Therefore, they are considered appetite suppressants that also exert a mild laxative effect. Horsetail (Equisetum arvense L.) is rich in silicon salts, which give it its remineralizing properties. It is also rich in potassium chloride and aluminum, which are responsible for its pronounced diuretic action. It also helps repair tissue damaged by weight fluctuations, reducing stretch marks and cellulite. Peppermint (Mentha piperita) is rich in menthol and various flavonoids, which give it antispasmodic and carminative properties; its bitter principles make it a digestive and appetizer. Menthol essential oil increases the production of gastrointestinal juices, promoting digestion. Sarsaparilla (Smilax aspera) has a marked diuretic, sudorific, purifying and lipid-lowering action. Basil (Ocinum basilicum): It has antispasmodic, tonic, calming, and digestive properties. The active ingredient estragole (essential oil) gives it aperitif, digestive, carminative, and belching properties. Basil increases the production of gastrointestinal juices, promoting digestion.
Recommended for use in food products. 10-15 drops diluted in liquid each time.
