The quintessential dessert of macrobiotic diets, it provides easily digestible energy and has many health benefits. Macrobiotic dessert, vegan milk substitute. For greater sweetness add any natural syrup or honey. Great combined with seasonal fruit. Provides creaminess. Drank with water (hot in winter) and a little grated ginger.
