High-precision aluminium alloy riser block measuring 1.9 cm × 2 cm × 5 cm (0.75 × 0.79 × 1.97 inches), designed specifically for refractor and guide scope applications on Vixen-format dovetail systems. Its rigid, non-flexing structure maintains optical alignment under load, while the machined dovetail groove ensures centred, repeatable rail positioning. Increases vertical offset between telescope tube and mount interface — facilitating smoother slewing, safer meridian transitions, and easier access to rear-mounted controls. Dual-threaded mounting holes support M6 or 1/4-inch screws. Includes two M6 screws (one short, one long) and two 1/4-inch screws (one short, one long) — addressing variability in ring base thickness and dovetail plate depth across manufacturers. Ideal for visual observers, lunar-planetary imagers, and dual-scope guiding setups.
