Ah So Cork Puller With Bottle Opener

This authentic Ah So (two-prong) cork extractor is constructed from solid stainless steel with a refined satin finish — non-magnetic, rust-resistant and weighted for balanced control. Measuring 18 cm in length and weighing 95 g, it delivers optimal leverage without fatigue. The hardened steel prongs are ground to fine edges for seamless entry beside the cork. Includes a custom-fit protective sheath and a functional flat beer bottle opener integrated into the handle base. Supplied in a compact, recyclable gift box with matte finish. Unlike worm-style corkscrews, this tool requires no rotation or torque — just steady, vertical insertion and gentle upward lift. It excels where conventional openers fail: bottles with crumbling corks, irregular shapes (e.g., Champagne magnums), or wax-sealed heritage releases. Also known historically as the Butler’s Friend, reflecting its longstanding use in formal service environments. Suited to both novice and experienced users — minimal learning curve, maximum reliability. Frequently chosen by UK independent wine merchants, tasting room staff and amateur collectors building personal cellars.
