Adjustable Torque Damping Spindle Hollow Core

A mechanically robust damping spindle built for hinge integration in professional-grade enclosures and equipment. Its defining feature is a concentric hollow core, permitting uninterrupted passage of rotating shafts or bundled wiring — essential for rotary encoder interfaces, potentiometer linkages or multi-pin interconnects inside sealed units. Constructed from carbon steel with uniform nickel plating for consistent surface hardness and resistance to abrasion during repeated actuation. Supplied in two torque grades (0.5 Nm and 1 Nm), each matched with dedicated mounting hole configurations to ensure accurate load transfer and alignment stability. Used primarily in applications where both tactile feedback and functional reliability matter: control cabinet doors, diagnostic tool housings, laboratory instrument lids and modular industrial sensors. The damping action prevents impact loading on latches and internal PCBs, while the hollow design preserves signal continuity and simplifies serviceability. Installation requires verification of flange pattern compatibility and correct torque variant selection — detailed dimensional data is provided per SKU to support mechanical design validation prior to procurement.
