Adjustable Medium Wave Radio Antenna

The AN-100 is a manually tunable antenna tool engineered to improve medium wave signal capture on FM radios, with confirmed compatibility for AM band reception. Dimensions are approximately 15 cm (±1–3 cm), and it weighs 85 g. The housing combines black and red plastic — a sturdy, non-conductive material chosen for RF stability and user safety. Supplied as a standalone unit: one antenna only, no cables or adapters included. Operation relies on proximity coupling: place the unit as close as possible to the radio’s internal ferrite antenna or external antenna terminal. Rotate the tuning knob slowly while listening for reduced static or increased audio fidelity; small repositioning (tilt, rotation, height) often yields measurable gains in signal-to-noise ratio. Especially effective for UK-based listeners using analogue radios in brick-built homes, rural fringe zones, or locations near electrical infrastructure where AM/FM signals suffer attenuation or multipath distortion.
