Achromatic Red Dot Star Finder

This red dot finder combines reflex sighting with high-fidelity achromatic optics for reliable celestial targeting. Available in 6–30 mm and 5–24 mm objective configurations, it supports both wide-field acquisition and tighter framing depending on model. Its double-separated or double-cemented objective lens ensures minimal chromatic error and improved contrast—especially beneficial under variable UK weather and suburban sky conditions. The internal reticle sits precisely at the focal plane with angular divisions aligned for intuitive star-hopping. Designed as a dedicated finder scope (not a standalone telescope), it mounts seamlessly to 80EQ, 80DX, SE and SLT series telescopes via standard finder brackets, serving exclusively as an aiming aid for larger optical systems.
