A purpose-built 2-input 2-output USB switch engineered for dependable printer sharing across two desktops or laptops. Housing made of impact-resistant ABS plastic in black finish. Input: two upstream USB-A ports (for connecting two host computers); Output: two downstream USB-A ports (for connecting one printer + one auxiliary USB device such as scanner or webcam). Switching is performed manually via front-panel button or optional external controller — no software layer involved. USB 3.0 compliant with theoretical 5 Gbps throughput (≈500 MB/s), ensuring rapid spooling of print data. Protection circuitry built directly into the PCB using discrete, industry-standard components (capacitors, resistors, diodes) to safeguard against electrical faults. Compatible with all major operating systems and does not interfere with Bluetooth peripherals used locally on either connected PC.
