80mm Metal Solar Filter Threaded

This 80 mm solar filter uses a solid metal housing with a precision internal thread, allowing secure, repeatable attachment directly to the telescope objective lens. Entirely glue-free and formaldehyde-free, it meets environmental and safety expectations for UK consumers. Built for observing solar phenomena such as sunspots and eclipses, as well as the Moon, planets, and star clusters. Works with all mainstream telescope optical designs — refractors, Newtonians, and catadioptrics — when sized correctly to the objective lens outer diameter (e.g., 8SE telescope has 235 mm OD, requiring 250 mm filter). One composite solar membrane is pre-installed within the metal frame.
