65% RH Hygrostat for Enclosure Heating

The MFR012 is an electromechanical humidity controller engineered to maintain dry internal conditions inside electrical enclosures by activating heaters when ambient relative humidity surpasses 65%. This prevents moisture accumulation, condensation formation, and subsequent corrosion of sensitive components. Housed in UL94 V-0 compliant light grey plastic, it measures just 67 × 50 × 38 mm and mounts easily onto standard 35 mm DIN rails (EN 50022). Its variable fitting position allows flexible orientation during installation. It offers a tight 4% RH switch differential (±3% tolerance), ensuring predictable and repeatable activation behaviour. The unit tolerates airflow up to 15 m/sec — ideal for ventilated or fan-cooled enclosures. Electrical connections use a 3-pole terminal block accepting rigid conductors up to 2.5 mm² or stranded wires (with ferrules) up to 1.5 mm², with a maximum clamping torque of 0.5 Nm. Rated for operation between 0°C and +60°C (32°F–140°F), and storage from −20°C to +80°C (−4°F–176°F), it meets key EMC standards including EN 55014-1-2, EN 61000-3-2 and EN 61000-3-3 — ensuring electromagnetic compatibility in noisy industrial environments.
