In the next 2-3 years, regularly cut back the roots and shoots. When your bonsai tree is ready to be repotted, fill the new planter with Westland Bonsai soil and fix the tree. Before planting, cut the roots back enough so that they fit comfortably into the new bonsai pot. Place the sapling in a place out of direct sunlight and water it regularly.
