PCB-based mono amplifier module, 98 × 43 × 30 mm, blue finish. Fixed 40× voltage gain. Requires dual-polarity DC supply: ±65V nominal, ±58V–±70V operational range. Power supply recommendation: regulated ±65V DC with effective filtering to suppress ripple — critical for low-noise HiFi reproduction. Input polarity must be correct; reverse connection causes immediate component failure. Output short-circuit protection is implemented, but repeated or prolonged shorts degrade long-term reliability. Optimised for 4–8 ohm, 10–18 inch speakers — particularly well-suited to ported or bandpass subwoofer cabinets and active floorstanding speakers. If source signal is weak (e.g., from phono stages or budget DACs), a line-level preamplifier is advised to achieve full rated output. Fan-assisted cooling enables stable operation during extended bass-heavy playback sessions.
