5 Inch Passive Radiator Paper Cone

This is a passive radiator (not a powered speaker), designed for car audio subwoofer enclosures. It features a 5-inch paper speaker cone with smooth high-frequency roll-off characteristics. Constructed with a hybrid plastic and metal frame for durability and stability. Outer diameter: 147 mm (5.7 inches), mounting hole diameter: 132 mm (5.1 inches), diagonal screw hole spacing: 138 mm (5.4 inches). Supplied as a pair in black finish. No magnet or voice coil included — it cannot produce sound independently and requires integration into an active subwoofer system with a driven driver and suitable enclosure. The radiator enhances low-frequency extension by acting as an acoustic mass-spring resonator, delivering deeper bass response without port turbulence or wind noise. Its design supports faster transient response and improved low-end speed perception compared to traditional ported enclosures. Ideal for compact car audio builds where space efficiency and clean bass output are priorities. Use case: Best suited for sealed or passive-radiator-aligned enclosures in vehicle audio systems, especially where port noise or cabinet size limits conventional vented designs.
