42mm Low-Inductance Stepper Motor

Measuring 42.3 × 42.3 mm and weighing 135 g, this metal-body stepper motor is built for precision and durability. Its high-torque capability stems from quality steel components, while low self-inductance enables rapid current response and fine-grained microstepping control. Uniform rotational speed is achieved via precision-stamped stator teeth and high-accuracy inner bore machining — minimising vibration and eliminating step loss under load. The rotor is treated with imported epoxy resin and subjected to high-temperature curing to inhibit residue accumulation (e.g., ferrous debris) inside stator slots, enhancing operational longevity and mechanical consistency. Reduced winding resistance improves heat transfer efficiency, resulting in lower operating temperatures versus equivalent motors — particularly beneficial in enclosed or densely packed 3D printer frames. Supplied with XH2.54 connector (DuPont header available as alternative), it integrates seamlessly into extruder assemblies and other automation subsystems including textile machinery, medical instruments, and custom positioning equipment.
