40A PWM DC Motor Speed Controller

This DC motor speed controller supports a wide input voltage range from 10V to 50V DC, making it compatible with common battery systems including 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V setups. It delivers a rated continuous current of 40A, enabling motor power control from 0.01W up to 2000W — with maximum output power scaling proportionally: 480W at 12V, 960W at 24V, 1440W at 36V, and 2000W at 50V. The unit features precise PWM regulation starting from just 5% duty cycle, operating at a stable 12kHz switching frequency to minimise audible noise and electromagnetic interference. Built on a compact 90×51mm PCB, it fits neatly into an enclosure sized 105×55×40mm. Quiescent current is low at only 0.025A, supporting energy-conscious applications. Designed for reliable operation in ambient temperatures from -20°C to +40°C.
