All components are precision-drawn with consistent diameter tolerance (±0.1 mm) to ensure smooth hammering and secure fit in drilled holes. Copper content exceeds 99.9% purity, verified via standard metallurgical sampling — guaranteeing reliable ion release kinetics in moist soil environments. Functionally, copper acts as a slow-release biocide within the tree’s conductive tissues. Once embedded, it impedes ATPase activity and polyphenol oxidase function — key drivers of wound healing and secondary growth. Over time, this leads to progressive dieback from the point of insertion outward. Recommended usage: Apply during late summer to early autumn when sap flow slows but root reserves remain high — maximising systemic uptake before dormancy. Works best on deciduous species under 30 cm diameter at breast height. Not intended for coniferous stumps or live canopy removal.
