32 Oz Stainless-Lid Fermentation Kit

This 32 oz (946 ml) fermentation kit features a robust transparent glass jar with uniform wall thickness, a wide-mouth stainless steel lid engineered for secure sealing and airflow control, a calibrated glass fermentation weight set, and a precision-moulded food-grade polycarbonate airlock. Jar capacity is verified at 32 fluid ounces; external dimensions are approximately 15 cm tall × 9 cm wide (±1–3 cm measurement variance). Total assembled weight approx. 680 g. The airlock functions via simple water displacement: filling it halfway creates a hydrostatic barrier that permits CO₂ egress while rejecting airborne yeasts, moulds, and bacteria — ensuring stable lactic acid fermentation. Post-fermentation, the included silicone plug replaces the airlock in the lid’s port, converting the jar into a long-term storage container without breaking the seal. Proven across diverse applications: ideal for cabbage-based ferments like sauerkraut and curtido, cruciferous and root vegetable ferments, fermented condiments (mustard, ketchup), and small-batch kombucha SCOBY maintenance — all supported by consistent pH development and minimal surface spoilage.
