3-Piece 1.25" Visual Astronomy Filter Kit

This kit contains three 1.25-inch (31.7 mm) colour filters — red, yellow, and green — engineered for visual astronomy applications. Each unit uses optically clear, non-coated glass (uncoated to preserve neutral transmission characteristics) sealed into CNC-machined aluminium alloy cells. Outer dimensions conform strictly to ISO 11095:2017 tolerances for 1.25-inch accessories, with a nominal thread pitch of 0.6 mm and major diameter of 28.5 mm. Total weight of the set is approximately 75 g. Installation requires no tools: simply screw onto any compatible eyepiece or nosepiece until snug. Intended exclusively for visual use, these filters assist in distinguishing low-contrast features on planets and bright nebulae by leveraging natural atmospheric transmission windows and human eye sensitivity peaks.
