Feature: The primary function of a magnesium rod: anti-corrosion and anti-scaling, protecting the inner tank. Magnesium rods, commonly referred to as anode rods, are mainly made of magnesium. They come into contact with the water in the water heater lining, forming a primary battery due to chemical reactions with the inner liner (primarily iron). As the water in the inner tank is not pure, it contains various impurities which can lead to corrosion. When the water temperature rises above 40°C, scaling occurs. Without a magnesium rod, the inner tank may suffer from corrosion. Excellent replacement for old units. Primarily utilized in water boilers, heat exchangers, evaporators, and boilers among other applications. It softens water, removes dirt residues, and extends the lifespan of the container.
