0.5-metre Mini SAS cable compliant with SAS 4.0 specification, converting one SFF-8654 host port to four SFF-8482 device ports while delivering auxiliary 4-pin power. Features ultra-fine tinned copper conductors (30AWG/32AWG), precision 0.9 × 2.3 mm OD profile, and gold-over-nickel plating (Au ≥30µ", Ni ≥100µ") for corrosion resistance and low-contact resistance. Fully latched for secure mating and certified to ROHS and UL 94V-0 (cable, PCB, PBT). Electrical performance includes 0.5 A per pin current capacity, 30 VAC voltage rating, ≤30 mΩ initial contact resistance (≤15 mΩ after stress), 500 VAC dielectric withstand, and 1000 MΩ minimum insulation resistance. Signal integrity is optimised via controlled 85 Ω impedance, −6 dB max insertion loss up to 4.5 GHz, and −26 dB crosstalk suppression up to 24 GHz. Engineered for demanding data centre use cases: connecting HBA or RAID controllers to multi-bay storage backplanes in rack-mount servers, workstations, and scalable storage racks — supporting sustained 24Gbps operation without retraining or link drops.
