244cm UV-Resistant Algae-Blocking Cover

Designed specifically for round pools up to 220cm in diameter, this 250cm-diameter cover provides full overhang for reliable sealing. Constructed from 200g/m² UV-stabilised woven polyethylene, it is double-coated: blue on the upper surface for solar reflectivity and aesthetic clarity, black on the underside to absorb light and suppress algae development. The black inner layer reduces photosynthetic activity beneath the cover, directly addressing a primary cause of green water after winter. Built for resilience, it features dual-layer aluminium eyelets spaced at 1-metre intervals, plus a durable tensioning rope and ratchet mechanism. Tested for performance between -40°C and +70°C, it remains pliable in freezing conditions and stable during summer storage — suitable for both indoor pool enclosures and exposed outdoor use across the UK and EU climates.
