22 Mesh 304 SS Window & Vent Mesh

Size: 60 cm × 600 cm (23.6 in × 236.2 in); Mesh: 22 per linear inch; Hole size: 0.9 mm; Wire gauge: 0.24 mm; Material: Genuine AISI 304 stainless steel. Specifically developed for permanent architectural integration, this mesh serves dual roles: environmental barrier and functional filter. Its 22-mesh density meets UK Building Regulations guidance for insect exclusion on habitable room openings, while its 304 stainless composition satisfies durability requirements for externally exposed elements. The 0.9 mm aperture allows adequate natural ventilation (tested at ≥70% free area) without compromising pest ingress prevention. Ideal for retrofitting older properties with inadequate screening, new-build window/vent detailing, or upgrading rental property standards. Easily integrated into trickle vents, soffit openings, loft hatches and kitchen extraction ducts. Also used by contractors for plaster base reinforcement and by home cooks for fine straining tasks — all supported by the same underlying material integrity and dimensional stability.
