20PCS 15cm Soil Moisture Rings

Twenty identical circular mulch mats, each measuring exactly 15 cm in diameter, fabricated from certified non-woven polypropylene — a material selected for controlled permeability and mechanical resilience in temperate climates. The fabric density allows >95% water infiltration while blocking >80% of incident light at the soil surface — the optimal threshold for suppressing annual weeds without compromising soil biology. No glue, coating or laminates are applied — the structure relies solely on thermally bonded fibres, ensuring compatibility with composting systems and absence of microplastic shedding during normal use. Thickness is calibrated to resist displacement by wind or casual footfall, yet remain pliable enough for contour-following installation. Best deployed at planting or immediately after weeding. Particularly effective under deciduous saplings, brassica rows, strawberry runners, and Mediterranean herbs like rosemary and thyme — all of which benefit from stable moisture and reduced competition during formative growth stages in UK conditions.
