20m Range Infrared Beam Sensor

Dimensions: 76 × 49.2 × 21.6 mm (3.0 × 1.9 × 0.9 in); weight not specified. Constructed from UV- and waterproof polycarbonate with an egg-shaped sealed housing. Detects obstructions across up to 20 metres outdoors or 30 metres indoors, operating at 940 nm infrared wavelength and 1.92 kHz frequency. Features 30 ms response time, DC 12–24 V power input, receiver current 15 mA / transmitter current 30 mA, and relay output rated A1 36 W. The system comprises one matched pair — a dedicated transmitter and receiver — installed opposite each other to form an invisible detection zone. When the beam is interrupted, the relay outputs a switch signal to trigger gate reversal or alarm activation. Ideal for automatic gates, garage shutters, parking barriers, perimeter security on walls or balconies, and access control in schools, hospitals, offices and residential yards.
