20cm Solid Cast Iron Dough Press

This 20 cm diameter tortilla press is crafted entirely from solid cast iron, weighing 734 g. Its compact footprint and balanced mass make it stable on standard UK kitchen worktops. The surface is untreated cast iron — naturally non-stick when properly seasoned, and safe for direct food contact. Designed for simplicity: two flat, circular plates connected by a fixed central pivot. Pressure is applied manually from above, with no levers, screws or adjustment dials. Ideal for repetitive pressing tasks without fatigue or inconsistency. Works equally well with soft chapati dough, stiff masa harina, sticky arepa batter or elastic dumpling wrappers. After use, simply brush off excess flour and air-dry — never submerge in water or use abrasive cleaners to preserve surface integrity.
