200W 8R Aluminium-Chassis Resistor

This 200W, 8 ohm wirewound resistor is housed in a precision-extruded aluminium body measuring approx. 100 x 52 x 29 mm (3.9 x 2 x 1.1 in), with a cylindrical core of 100 x 32 mm (3.9 x 1.3 in). Constructed for thermal and mechanical resilience, it uses high-purity aluminium for efficient heat conduction and long service life. Its resistance is tightly controlled at 8 ohms with ±5% tolerance (J-grade), and it features two 4.2 mm (0.2 in) mounting holes spaced 41.5 mm (1.6 in) apart — engineered for rigid attachment to equipment frames or auxiliary heat sinks. Intended for mission-critical use, it supports stable operation in power conversion, motion control, sensor interfacing, and professional audio systems where sustained wattage and thermal reliability are non-negotiable.
