A practical, engineered solution for restoring stability to sinking or wobbling fence posts. Contains two identical steel ground anchors, each sized precisely for 2-inch by 2-inch fence post interiors. Made from 2 mm thick carbon steel, powder coated in matte black for lasting protection. Each unit is 60 cm long and weighs 1.8 kg. The square external shape prevents rotation during installation and enhances grip in variable UK soils. These anchors are driven vertically beneath existing posts to act as load-bearing extensions, increasing effective embedment depth and resisting lateral movement. Particularly effective in areas prone to seasonal ground saturation, frost heave or light erosion — common challenges across UK gardens from Cornwall to Aberdeenshire. No additional hardware, tools or expertise needed. Compatible with standard UK fence heights (1.2 m to 1.8 m), common post spacings (1.8–2.4 m), and all major retail post sleeve brands. Simply insert, hammer, and re-tighten post brackets if necessary.
