188F Generator 6-Wire Ignition Switch

This 6-wire ignition key switch is purpose-built for 2.5–6.5 kW 188F-type gasoline generators. Its compact round housing (approx. 4.5 cm diameter, 120 g weight) uses heat-resistant ABS plastic and precision-machined copper alloy terminals. Six colour-coded wires (red, black, yellow, white, green, blue) are pre-attached with 10 cm lengths of 0.5–0.75 mm² stranded copper core insulation. The switch operates in two distinct positions: OFF (all circuits open), and ON/START (simultaneously energises ignition coil and triggers starter solenoid). It supports standard 12 V DC generator systems and replaces failed OEM switches without modification. Suitable for fixed-site backup units, mobile work-site generators, and rural off-grid installations where reliability and correct timing between ignition and cranking are critical.
