Total kit weight is approx. 280 g; stored in an organised, stackable plastic tray with engraved size labels for each compartment. Each circlip functions via elastic deformation: it expands radially when opened, slides over the shaft end, then contracts into the undercut groove to lock components axially. No heat treatment, welding, or secondary fasteners required. The 304 grade ensures non-magnetic properties, good formability, and resistance to atmospheric corrosion—making it suitable for both indoor technical use and semi-exposed outdoor equipment. Commonly applied in gearbox rebuilds, suspension component servicing, pump shaft assemblies, and custom fabrication—where consistent, repeatable, and non-threaded retention is preferred over alternatives like E-clips or snap rings made from carbon steel.
