14-Bit Absolute Angle Sensor SPI PWM

A compact PCB-mounted AS5048A magnetic rotary position sensor offering 14-bit absolute angle measurement (0.0219° resolution) over 360°, with native SPI interface and hardware PWM output. Based on contactless magnetic sensing, it requires only a simple two-pole magnet placed axially relative to the IC. Zero position is fully configurable via SPI and stored internally — enabling rapid mechanical integration without magnet reorientation. The module exhibits strong resilience to thermal drift (-40°C to +150°C), lateral misalignment, and variable air gaps — key advantages over optical or resistive alternatives. Targeted at precision motion control applications including surveillance camera pan-tilt units, servo motor feedback, and industrial rotary actuators where reliability and repeatability are paramount.
