1.25 Inch Optical Glass Moon Filter

A dedicated 1.25 inch (31.7 mm) astronomical filter built for lunar observation. It uses certified optical glass with precise 13% light transmission to suppress glare and enhance contrast. The filter mounts via standard M28.6×0.6 mm threads on both sides, ensuring compatibility with virtually all 1.25 inch eyepieces, diagonal mirrors and filter wheels. Its aluminium frame provides structural rigidity and thermal stability, while keeping total weight at only 8 g. Designed for small-aperture telescopes (e.g., 70–130 mm refractors or reflectors), it unlocks visible surface detail — including crater chains, mountain shadows and valley relief — that remains invisible without filtration. Also suitable for solar observation when used in conjunction with certified front-end solar filters (not included).
