1.25 Inch Aluminium Moon Filter

Precision-engineered for amateur astronomers, this 1.25 inch (31.7 mm) moon filter uses high-transmission optical glass housed in a lightweight aluminium frame. It fits all standard 1.25 inch eyepieces via dual M28.6×0.6 mm threads (internal and external). With 13% light transmission, it lowers lunar brightness and improves contrast, revealing fine surface structures such as mountain ranges, valleys and impact craters. Weighing only 8 g net, it adds negligible load to your eyepiece train. The corrosion-resistant aluminium body ensures consistent performance across repeated use and varying environmental conditions. Recommended especially during full moon phases when unfiltered views become overly intense and low in detail.
